Sleep from Now On
Once a baby has demonstrated its ability to gain weight (usually by 12 lbs), it may be prudent to discontinue night feedings. Kitty Raymond instructs parents on how to make this transition. Older babies, toddlers and preschoolers do well with a 12-hour night and regular, long naps depending on age. This seminar is designed for parents with a child of 12 lbs. or more --all the way up to approximately 3-4 years of age.
Kitty Raymond, pediatric sleep specialist, talks about research on the effects of pediatric sleep debt and instructs parents on the step-by-step, 3-night process for helping their child acquire good sleep skills. Then the whole family can wake up refreshed and happy to see each other!
Note: We strongly encourage parents to find childcare to attend this 2 hour seminar. If unavoidable, you may bring your baby if under 4 months old, and if two parents/adults are attending.
This seminar will not be held in October due to Kitty's travel plans.
Location: First Church of the Nazarene, 65 Richard Way S.W.

Setting Healthy Limits
Kitty Raymond talks to parents about the predictable stages of misbehavior, the developmental limitations behind the behavior and how parents can handle these normal but frustrating situations.
She addresses Sibling Squabbles, aggression, refusal to listen, defiance, tantrums, meltdowns, sassy talk, bending rules and kids getting into everything. How parents choose to handle these behaviors can make a big difference in how often you need to face them.
Kitty Raymond helps you get a perspective, have a laugh and go home with new strategies and tools.
